Bold, italic and underline
The sliders on the left ramp, the shortcuts, and how styles export.
On the left side of the machine, mirroring the ink selector on the right, there are three sliders: B, I and U. Tap or drag a slider to turn that style on for the letters you type next; slide it back to turn it off. Or use ⌘B, ⌘I and ⌘U (also in the Format menu).
How they look on the paper is how a typist would do it:
- Bold is struck twice, a hair apart.
- Italic uses the typeface's slant.
- Underline is an underscore typed over the letter.
Every letter keeps the style it was typed in, and its ink colour.
