The free version, buying and restoring

What the free download does, unlocking Dactylo once, and restoring your purchase.

Free

Dactylo is free to download, and your first page is free: the first page you type on is yours to write, correct and keep. Try every view, paper, ink, typeface and sound on it. Reading, the library and the settings are always open, and so is Settings › Sync and Safety › Back Up the Library.

Unlock once

When you start typing on a second page, or choose an export, Dactylo shows Unlock Dactylo with its one-time price in your country's currency. There is no subscription and no account.

The full version opens every page and every folder, editing all of them in the manuscript, and every export: a manuscript for publishers as PDF or Word, your typed pages, Markdown and plain text.

You can also unlock it any time in Settings › Full Version.

Mac and iPad together

One purchase unlocks Dactylo on every Mac and iPad signed in to the same Apple Account. With Family Sharing on, your family can use it too.

Restore a purchase

On a new device, or after reinstalling, choose Settings › Full Version › Restore Purchase. Dactylo asks the App Store and unlocks itself.

Refunds

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are too: visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
